Oh dear, did we really take that long? But it's still Friday somewhere in the world, right?

Assignments have been sent out. They are due on Oct 15, 2013.


Make sure your letters are publicly viewable, i.e. no longer under an f-lock or anything.


If you don't think you'll be able to create anything for your assignment, tell us. If you need more information on what your recipient might like, we can try to contact them on your behalf. If that doesn't help, that'd a pity, but not the end of the world. You can default and we'll try to assign a pinch-hitter for your assignment.


If you missed the sign-ups but want to write something anyway, you can either

a) stalk check the Google Group for potential pinch hits, or
b) have a look around the requests, or
c) check out the special prompts that are not part of the official exchange


Anything I forgot to mention? Questions? Concerns? Coffees? Teas?

Can y'all post something asking recipients to unlock their prompt posts? I can't see my recip's, and they did not leave any details in their sign up.

I opted not to do a "Dear Author" letter, mostly because I am more interested in giving a gift than I am in receiving one. Is that all right?

Dear Author letters are optional, so yes, it is.

The thing is just that there are others like you who enjoy giving gifts and who would be happy to hear about your likes and dislikes. It helps them to find a start.
